How far in advance do I need to book?Each balloon creation is unique and customized to your needs, and with that being said the sooner you book the more likely you are to avoid disappointment. Sought after dates book up quickly and we like to ensure we can access the materials required for your custom order. Two weeks notice is recommended, however we can try to accommodate last minute orders. In this case our balloons selection may be limited to what we have in stock.

Do you deliver (what area do you serve)?We do deliver but we also accommodate pick up orders in Greensville ( just above the town of Dundas). Our designated delivery area includes: Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Ancaster, Brantford and everything in between.

Why are my balloons turning matte?When balloons are exposed to sunlight and heat the latex undergoes an oxidation process causing the latex balloons to appear matte, cloudy and velvety in texture. With outdoor installations this process will occur and for many this is a preferred look.

Why do my foil balloons look deflated?When our foil balloons meet cold air they will start to deflate. Don’t worry, this is NORMAL! Once returned to the warmth, you will hear them start to make a crackling noise as the foil balloon is expanding back to its original shape.

What is a grab & go garland and how do I pick it up?A grab & go garland gives you the designer look for less. Once you select your colours, we will create it and have it ready for you to pick up. You will be given instructions on how to hang it with our easy-to-use hanging kit and guide. These garlands do require an SUV/ van with the seats down and cannot be picked up in a truck or car. All seats must be down at the time of pickup with no car seats, tools, boxes, sports equipment or sharp objects etc.

How long do balloons last?All of our balloons are air-filled, we do not use helium at this point in time. Air-filled products can last for weeks if kept in the ideal environment. You will get increased longevity from the balloons if kept indoors. Our balloon displays are very intricate and we manipulate them more than garlands thus, causing them to shrink from their original shape faster than a balloon garland.

What type of balloons do you use?We have made a conscious effort to purchase balloons that are environmentally responsible. All of our latex balloons are 100% biodegradable. They are made from the sap of a rubber tree and decompose at the same rate as an oak leaf. In some instances we use Mylar foil balloons in our creations which are not biodegradable.

Who is responsible for the removal of the balloons after the event?The client is responsible for the tear down, popping and disposal of the balloons. Once the balloons have been delivered/installed, the balloons are yours to keep. You can dismantle them and bring them home to repurpose or you can pop and dispose of them. However, if one of our backdrops has been rented we will return to the site to dismantle and pickup.

Can you use balloons I have already purchased?Unfortunately, to ensure that our designs will last we only use our products that have proven to be reliable and of excellent quality.

What is your ordering process?1. Fill out and submit our inquiry form. 2. We will do our best to respond to your inquiry within 1-2 business days via email. 3. Once we have agreed on your order and you are ready to book our services, we require a 50% deposit to secure your date. The outstanding balance is due upon delivery of our product.
BALLOON CARE
Pumped Balloon Boutique is NOT liable for the balloons once they are no longer in our care. We strive to use products made of the highest quality of materials, thus prolonging the lifespan of the balloons.
We cannot guarantee your balloons will last once they have been picked up, delivered or installed. If anything pops during our delivery or our setup we will replace it.
There are multiple factors that can jeopardize the life span of the balloons such as but not limited to environmental factors (exposure to heat or cool conditions), outdoor elements, sharp items or edges, theft, pets and children.
The balloons are not a toy for children or pets as they can become a choking hazard and supervision should be implemented.
TIPS for longer lasting balloons:
Keep out of direct sunlight and warm temperatures. If displaying balloons outdoors, a shaded area is best in the summer heat. It is also recommended to use light coloured balloons. The darker the balloon, the more heat it holds and the greater the chances of popping.
Avoid leaving balloons in a hot vehicle or near a heat register.
Touch the balloons as little as possible as oils on the skin can mark the balloons.
Ensure your balloons are not displayed near any sharp objects.
